MagicWars Show 1-Kenneth Havard

MagicWars is a competition between parlor/standup magicians who present 15 minute acts in succession in front of a live audience. Then, they are judged and awarded a winner and runner up declaration. Fun for the audience, and gives acts a chance to hone that part of their repertoire that can’t be rehearsed in front of a mirror or on video, without the interaction of a live audience. Constraints and conditions exist. No large illusions, the whole act must be able to fit into two suitcases (the Southwest Airlines rule). No hired or trained assistants, only audience participation. Original material will be rewarded with higher marks than push-button, store bought, hack stuff. No impersonations (Austin Powers, costumed characters, Charlie Chaplin, etc.) We want to see YOU!!! Our first ever performance, here, is Paul Carpenter, a total trooper. When a big talker was ’unavailable’ for the show at the last minute (big shock!), Kenneth Havard () stepped in, and stepped up! Ken won the first MagicWars ever on a split decision against the worthy challenger, Paul Carpenter. Do you have the act to take to the stage, do you have what it takes?
