How To Paint A Simple Watercolour Urban Cityscape, Film Noir Style, Watercolor Landscape Tutorial

Here I’m painting a semi abstract cityscape scene and trying to paint it in a loose Film Noir style. It is a limited palette painting using just 2 colours, burnt sienna and paynes grey, with a few white gouache highlights at the end, but use what ever similar colours (or different) that you like! Brushes etc are detailed in the tutorials, but, again, use whatever you are comfortable with. My paper is Millford 100% cotton cold pressed, 140lb/300g, my board is at an angle of about 45-60 degrees. I hope you enjoy watching, please like and subscribe if you haven’t already!
