First Look: Creality Ender 3 V3

This is my first look at the brand new Ender 3 V3 (no suffix) from Creality. This printer was sent for our consideration by our friends at Sainsmart. You can get a brand new Ender 3 V3 from Sainsmart for $389! here’s a link: This printer is quite different than any of the other Ender series. Beside the fact that it is a bedslinger, the motion system is all new. It uses the Core XZ motion system developed by MIT. Why? Why Not! In this system the X and Z axis share two motors and two belts. It makes for a very square system if the belts are tight. And in this case they are! They are kept in proper tension by a self tightening unit. The die-cast metal gantry slots into the frame and is secured with two sets of perpendicular screws.
