Tests with Electrical Heater Hood EHH70 and Experimental Stirling Engine ST05G-CNC with DC Generator

The electrical heater-hood EHH70 was purpose-designed to fit the heater-head of the well-known experimental Stirling machine (“Viebach Motor“) ST05G from ve//ingenieure. It serves the purpose to heat this Stirling machine in research, development and technical education under controlled and reproducible conditions, thereby enabling tests and measurements on this device in laboratory environments. The heater-hood comprises 3-phase electrical tubular heating-elements with a nominal power of 7 kW, a temperature-sensor, as well as electromechanically driven fans to homogenously distribute the heat within the hood, as well as to cool of outer surfaces. The heater-hood is thermally insulated against ambience.
