Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most dynamic and developing regions of Russia. It is located 800 km east from Moscow at the intersection of the major trade routes connecting regions of Russia, China, the CIS countries and Europe. Tatarstan’s major advantages for doing business include low level of bureaucratic barriers, tax preferences, open dialogue with the government through the “single window“ policy, availability of developed markets and well developed infrastructure. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) is created as a special executive governmental body to support all investors cooperating with them at every stage of a project implementation. Another TIDA’s function is to promote PPP in order to build more prosperous environment for private sector development. Thereby the Agency is a main bridge between Tatarstan officials and investors.
