He was a Scottish composer, musician, singer and music producer born in Glasgow. Woolfson gained wide notoriety during the 1970s and 1980s as the co-founder and principal songwriter of THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT. After the dissolution of the group, he began a career as a musical composer and signed five works that have been represented in front of more than a million spectators in countries such as Germany, South Korea or Japan. During his musical career, both in the group and in his solo productions, he surpassed the figure of 50 million records sold.
