Ild - Fanden tok mine beste aar (single, 2021)

Last year we brought you the excellent debut ep from vintage-sounding Norwegian artist Ild. The attention to detail in the mournful wintery trance of the music continued into the physical copies, with tapes bound in hessian bags, accompanied by hand-carved wooden skulls. We are pleased to present ‘Fanden tok mine beste aar´- lead single from Ild’s forthcoming Fandens lykteskjær album, which develops the themes laid down in the previous ep, and enhances them with a cold ferocity and explosive fire that is immediately compelling as soon as that drum beat drops in.
