La Palma volcano poses new threats after crater partly collapses

The erupting Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma has turned life on the Spanish island upside down, as flowing lava displaces thousands of people who have now lost everything. The eruption has since displaced nearly 8,000 thousand people on the island, while over 2,100 have been destroyed by the disaster. The volcano is now reportedly growing more active, as a secondary cone collapsed Monday, creating a new channel of lava. As Eric Sorensen explains, scientists say this volcano is proving to be unpredictable.
