How to create a Cinematic Drone | Padshop 2

Padshop 2 is a great VST virtual instrument for creating cinematic sounds like an atmospheric drone effect. This video looks at how to create a cinematic drone from sampling a Yamaha reface DX mini keyboard. The new spectral oscillator is used to change the playback speed, texture, timbre and morphing the sound, changing the number of voices, detuning and randomizing the playback direction. Adding reverb from the Padshop FX completes the process of very quickly creating a very atmospheric new sound in this groundbreaking software synthesizer and sampler.
