Difference between T-90MS Tagil and T-90M Proryv 3

While the next-generation tanks are already developed in Russia, they still face technical hurdles which need refinements and are too expensive for large scale procurement. The cost of T-14 Armata MBT is estimated at the US $8-12 million, compared to $ million, the cost of an upgraded T-90. The T-90M, arguably Russia’s most advanced front-line tank, and is a modernized version of the T-90 Tank incorporating features from T-90MS and T-14 Armata. T-90MS on contrary was developed from the export-focused T-90S and is upgraded in just about every way, from the engine to the gun. The modernized tank is being proposed for the Russian Army and potential export customers. Both these MBTs are developed and designed by Russia’s largest tank maker, Uralvagonzavod. Although both tanks look similar physically and have few common systems still T-90M and T-90MS have different specifications. In this video, we will analyze both tanks and review what the key differences are. T-90MS Tagil is a new platform with much focus on the digitization of MBT it is a high tech MBT which is offered to foreign customers Russian tank regiments will benefit from it in the form of T-90M which is much tilted toward the up-gradation of T-90 tanks in service. Cost-wise it is economical to upgrade tanks to T-90M proryv 3 standards as up-gradation cost is around 1.5 to 2.5 million US dollars per unit while the cost of the T-90MS tank is around 4. Million US dollar. Content: 00:00 - Introduction 01:18 - Design 02:09 - Armament 02:51 - Fire Control System 03:26 - Mobility 04:09 - Conclusion . . .. ...
