Unreal Engine 4 vs Unreal Engine 5 Comparison - The Isle Evrima
A direct comparison between Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5 of The Isle Evrima. Both versions were running on Epic settings at 1440p using RTX 4070 Ti, i5-13600K and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM.
Side note: In spite of the game has migrated to UE5 not all new feature are in use yet such as Lumen lighting and some of the smaller foliage types aren’t using Nanite, most notably the grass. However this is the first iteration of UE5 and the devs have more or less confirmed Lumen and they’ve said they’re working on Nanite grass which we’ll hopefully see on Gateway sooner rather than later.
