Deine Lakaien - The Walk To The Moon (Forest Enter Exit Live 1993)

Dear music friends and fans, “The Walk To The Moon”, the song about the futile journey to a child’s dream destination, stood at the beginning of our “Forest Enter Exit” concerts. As you can see, the stage was largely darkened, electronic space noises could be heard from the speakers, which slowly fell silent and you could see a small group standing close together, who, like traveling musicians, intoned this song with violin, harmonium and lute. We had set up a small room for this, away from our usual stage arrangement, in order to get in the mood for the journey that was supposed to lead to the stars with the following song “Contact”. A very intimate song, as you can hear, and for the audience the introduction to a special concert evening, which, like the “Forest” album, should follow a coherent concept.
