2010 Volkswagen Tiguan - MIL/EPC P1545 Throttle Valve Controller Malf. (no throttle response)

working on a 2010 vw tiguan with a engine, customer complaint is check engine light and epc light, veh will stall and there is no throttle response when hitting the pedal. there is 1 trouble code stored it is a p1545 throttle valve controller malfunction.
