These miniature sinningias do not require terrarium -levels of high humidity like some miniatures of this genus. These do better with some air circulation and often grow fine inside an air conditioned home. They can be grown in bright natural light or under various kinds of grow-lights. They prefer not to dry out, dry soil may cause them to stop blooming or go dormant, just like their closest cousin the Florist Gloxinia. On the other hand, if you have to leave them for as much as a month or more, they will sit dry and turn brown and usually come back strong when watering resumes.
