Making a Sign from Recycled HDPE Plastic | Two Tone, Eco-Friendly Signage

We came up with the idea of a two-colour sign, so we could engrave into the first layer to reveal the second. This issue with this, is that there isn’t an adhesive that works with HDPE, so we needed to come up with another plan. To make the two colours fuse together we used heat. We needed enough heat to make sure they were fully bonded, but not so much that the sheets melted and warped. Then we used our Stepcraft D840 to CNC our planet earth sign design out.
