Early on we were pleased when Labour rejected calls from former PM Tony Blair to introduce mandatory digital IDs. But let us be completely honest with you. The road ahead is going to be challenging, and we can’t succeed without the support of people just like you. Together we can contribute to making meaningful change, but it will take all of us. We know that Starmer is planning to: • Spy on all of our bank accounts – under Labour’s new Fraud, Error and Debt Bill • Increase live facial recognition – Starmer took to the stage to announce this in July • Crack down on lawful speech – the Home Office is planning new non-crime ’hate’ measures, and the Science & Tech Secretary is running secretive government censorship cells in Whitehall • Pilot a Central Bank Digital Currency – Carrying on Sunak’s controversial Spycoin plans, with a ’blueprint’ expected by Christmas And these breathtaking threats have emerged in the first 100 days of Government alone. If we win any one of these early battles, we’ll give a message to the Government that the public will not stand for 5 years of attacks on our rights.
