EMINƎM - ENCORƎ ~Re-Organized~ (by Svan Luxe)

CONTEXT: On November 12, 2004, Eminem released “ƎNCORE“, which would be his 5th album in his career. Originally, it was planned to be released on November 16 of the same year, but the date had to be moved forward due to two factors: The leak of some of his songs in 2003, including some that were going to be in ƎNCORE, causing that these songs had to be replaced; and the strong dependence to Vicodin and Valium that Eminem himself was going through at that time, causing him not to put the effort he usually puts in his songs. All this affected the final result of the album, which ended up being quite distant from what Eminem had in mind, thus being the first stumble in his career. Since I knew about the existence of this album, I found many “Redone“ versions of it, where many contributed their proposals on how to improve the album and/or how it was originally going to be. And I, Svan Luxe, also joined this task, reorganizing the tracklist of ƎNCORE, resorting to several sources of information, and also trying to understand the original concept. CHANGES LIST: * The tracks “We As Americans“ and “Bully“ were placed at the beginning of the album because in an interview that Eminem had with XXL Magazine in 2022, he himself stated that those songs were going to be the first two of the album. Recall that both tracks were leaked in 2003, and of those two, only “We As Americans“ ended up as a bonus track on ƎNCORE back then. * Also included were the tracks “Love You More“, “Monkey See, Monkey Do“, “Ricky Ticky Toc“ and “Doe Rae Me“, all of which were also leaked in 2003, of which, only “Love You More“ and “Ricky Ticky Toc“ ended up as bonus tracks back then. * The tracks “Mosh“ and “Like Toy Soldiers“ were placed almost at the end, and in that order, due to the meaning of their respective lyrics, especially “Like Toy Soldiers“, whose meaning was based on saying enough to the fights between rappers. * The track “Just Lose It“ would be placed long before the track “Paul (Skit)“ in order not to lose the thread of the controversy generated with the music video of that song (remember that this music video made Michael Jackson himself uncomfortable). * The tracks “Puke“, “My 1st Single“, “Rain Man“, “Big Weenie“ and “Ass Like That“ were removed from the album (for obvious reasons). * The tracks were re-organized in such a way that there is coherence between the tracks.
