Russia deploys 700 snipers close to Ukraine border

RUSSIA is deploying more than 700 military snipers in four regions close to Ukraine in new war games. The move comes amid deepening tension over Western fears Vladimir Putin is plotting an imminent invasion of his neighbour. It comes after Russia warned war is “highly likely“ with Ukraine following orders to troops to remain “combat ready“ after speculation of a Ukrainian invasion.
