Deep Purple - Wring That Neck (Live in the recording Studio, 1968)

Wring That Neck was the B-side to the single ’Kentucky Woman’ and the title came from a phrase the band used when they played live to describe how to squeeze the most out of the guitars for that hard Purple sound. Mark I and Mark II used to play the song in their set. From the album ’The Book of Taliesyn’ which was the 2nd studio album for Mark I, recorded only three months after ’Shades of Deep Purple’ in 1968! Here we see the track being laid down in the recording studio in some rare Doco footage from 1968
