Original ABC Dunhill Records #4138 Debut 7/13/1968 Peaked at # 2 for 3 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart This is the super hot powerful mono mix that just blows away the weak wimpy sounding common stereo mix with the Hammond Organ on only one channel. ABC Dunhill records destroyed both the original multitrack master tapes and the mono mixes in the early 70’s to save space. This left only the stereo mix remaining. Therefore, the only way to really hear this superior mix is from the original mono 45 RPM vinyl record.
