Very rare broadcast of French chanteuse Françoise Hardy performing her hit ‘Tous les garçons et les filles’ live during the prestigious ‘Grand Gala du Disque’ TV show in the Kurhaus, The Hague, The Netherlands, 12 October 1963. Françoise Madeleine Hardy, born on 17 January 1944, made her musical debut in the early 1960s and found immediate success with her song “Tous les garçons et les filles“ in France and abroad. She became “France’s most exportable female singing star“ in the 1960’s, recording in various languages, appearing in several movies, touring throughout Europe, and gaining admiration from musicians such as Bob Dylan, Miles Davis and Mick Jagger. In this Grand Gala performance she appeared on the same program as luminaries Marlène Dietrich and Sarah Vaughan.
