Born to be your own wild (Lullaby Version)

#rocknroll #mother #70s “I remembered I had a couple beautiful video clips on my phone that my dear friend Dan shot of me and my baby girl at the Dead Sea in Israel at sunrise. The day before I wondered around in Tel Aviv trying to find something simple yet timeless to wear for these photos. I felt like I wanted nothing constructed between me and my baby. I kept feeling like fabric flowing and earth tones. After walking around for hours uninspired I came across this little home goods vendor shop on the street and I saw this tan linen table cloth! I bought it. I didn’t know what I would do with it. When I got to the Dead Sea that morning it turned out to be perfect. I threw the table cloth across my one shoulder and then believe it or not I secured it in place by tucking it into one side of my thong. It draped so elegantly. It Just worked, because I felt part of the earth. I then said to my friend Dan after shooting some stills let’s get some slow motion video of me walking with my baby and breast feeding. I wanted to always remember this place, this time, because It was so primal walking barefoot with my baby and feeding her in this most ancient place on earth. And now many months later I was so grateful that these images were captured in such a pure way that I called my song writing partner and producer Esjay Jones and said let’s home edit this video together and do it has a tribute to my first child and my new journey into motherhood. I wanted it to be like a personal diary entry I would share but visual. It feels so raw, so vulnerable, and so deep that for the first time I’m actually very nervous.“ Follow MISS VELVET Facebook : IG : Tik Tok : @officialmissvelvet BORN TO BE YOUR OWN WILD Written By Miss Velvet and Esjay Jones Dedicated to my daughter Naomi Tip toes carry you through life so well You grow lead you through this living hell I know I cannot protect you from tomorrow oh such a sorrow Dreamers in a world of show and tell Careful don’t believe in all they sell I know I cannot protect you from tomorrow oh such a sorrow You were Born to be wild my child Remember to always be kind I’ll hold you in my open arms You were born be your own wild Whatever you find you will find all we have is time Monsters things that keep me up at night Listen not everything is black and white I know I can only give you stars to follow So take it solo Dreamers in a world of show and tell Careful don’t believe in all they sell I know I cannot protect you from tomorrow oh such a sorrow You were Born to be wild my child Remember to always be kind I’ll hold you in my open arms You were born be your own wild Whatever you find you will find all we have is time time time time You were Born to be wild my child Remember to always be kind I’ll hold you in my open arms You were born be your own wild Whatever you find you will find All we have is UNCONDITIONAL IN THIS LIVING HELL WHAT’S THE PRICE YOU’D PAY?
