Major Trump Trial UPDATE

Florida Judge Aileen Cannon has just announced the trial date in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump, and it happens to begin – not surprisingly – right when voters are prepared to head to the polls in the presidential primaries. Now bear in mind that these dates are fungible. It’s possible this date could still change. But as of this moment, the Florida trial is scheduled to get underway on May 20, 2024, right in the middle of primary season, and just six months before the presidential election. And this is only one of potentially three trials looming over President Trump’s head right now. As we’ve told you, Trump was also indicted by Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg for alleged business fraud.
