Death Note: Potato Chips and Justice

We Could Use Your Support! ▶▶ Death Note has a primary focus on two boys, Light Yagami and L, who’s contradicting moral compasses clash in a battle of extraordinary intelligence. Light, in using the Death Note, created a figure known as Kira whom the public viewed as a god. And though multiple people have used the notebook to appear as Kira to the public, L is wise enough to see the subtle differences and understand that these are imposters to the real Kira. But more than this, the show constantly repeats the themes of justice, of right and wrong, of rightfulness and lawfulness. Light and L are going about things on opposite ends of the spectrum, but is there truly a difference in the justice each holds in their mind?
