How To Create A Ragdoll Simulation In 3ds Max - 3D VFX Tutorial
In this 3ds Max tutorial I show how to do Ragdoll simulations using the MassFX engine. You can use this technique with a 3d scanned model of your actor to achieve some very interesting ragdoll effects for film and VFX.
To start your Ragdoll in Sleeping mode you have to select each bone and set them to Start In Sleeping mode using the MassFX Tools options. Not sure why you cannot select all the bones and enable this setting. Let me know if you find any other way of doing this :)
