Water diviner Catherine Bent at work in Deveran, Cornwall. Various shots woman walking about field accompanied by man, she suddenly starts waving her arms frantically and twitching mancially. M/S two farmers leaning on gate watching. M/S woman walking with arm outstretched like a zombie. She drops her arm, sticks a flag in the ground. Various shots of woman twitching, jerking and then placing more flags in ground. She places her hand in her pocket and pulls out a piece of string. C/U woman’s hand waggling piece of string. M/S woman waggling string - man hands her another, flag she sticks it in. M/S two farmers entering field and walking towards her. M/S woman does a final fling and signals the farmer to come over. The two men join the woman and she explains where the water is, one of them begins to drive in a large pipe.
