Marcus Miller, Alune Wade: “Hylife“ | International Jazz Day 2022

UNESCO Artist for Peace Marcus Miller and Alune Wade (bass, vocals) perform their original composition “Hylife“ alongside Joey Alexander (piano), Terri Lyne Carrington (drums), Pedrito Martinez (percussion), Jeremy Pelt (trumpet), Erena Terakubo (alto saxophone) and Mark Whitfield (guitar) as part of the International Jazz Day 2022 All-Star Global Concert on April 30, 2022. The International Jazz Day 2022 All-Star Global Concert streamed live from the UN General Assembly Hall in New York, featuring dozens of acclaimed artists affirming the importance of jazz as a means of achieving unity and peace through dialogue and diplomacy. Major support for International Jazz Day is provided by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
