Tutorial part 1- Sculpting a female head in polymer clay by Linda Ehrenfried LindaE

This video is one of my first attempts at recording a tutorial video while sculpting and I was having a hard time balancing me being able to see what I am doing around the camera with you being able to see what I was doing. But I hope you enjoy it anyway. . In this video, I cover one of several methods I use to sculpt a human head in polymer clay. This is primarily a subtractive process. I will cover an additive process in another video. This is part one. There are 3 parts. This is by no means the only way to sculpt a head but it is a good one and it will help you learn to map a face and what features help to create a more realistic looking human head. I like unique faces so I usually use a reference photo. You can soften the bone structure for a more feminine look or widen the jaw and brow for a more masculine look that is all up to you.
