France’s New Battleship Of The Air (1927)

Item title reads: “ France’s New Battleship Of The Air. First pictures of hitherto secret mighty armoured air fighter.“ Villacublay, France M/S front view of a huge aircraft, which has a huge metal shape. It is twin engined with windows at front and no aerodynamic nose. It has a conning tower above, plus a cockpit. It is impressively engineered, with sweeping shapes. M/S cockpit above, and brief ground to air shots of the aircraft in flight. Note: the item title is damaged. The aircraft looks scary and impressive, but this plane, made on the lines of a tank, was no aeronautical design success. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
