It’s something that’s been emotionally sewn on me since I was a kid. Ayrton Senna was largely responsible for this, and I suspect his death played an even bigger part. I was watching the race that Sunday, of course, and afterwards I watched all the immense commotion for his funeral... Well, I guess that starts to explain things. So, adds to that Hans Zimmer’s music for a Formula 1 film, it became something I couldn’t let go of.
