Ramiro Gonzalez & Sylvia Sykes - 1st Place - Street Swing - 1995 US Open

The amazing Ramiro and Sylvia, who are both teaching and traveling (lucky us!). Ramiro has a background in Latin dancing and Sylvia a background in Lindy and Balboa. But this is pure West Coast Swing all the way! And we love them. Again, this is the Street Swing Division, where you chose your own partner, but you don’t know the music. It’s very similar to Strictly Swing (it was renamed because they were looking for less tricks, etc... just swing dancing).
