It’s like a weird genre datamosh of gritty industrial darksynth and retro 90’s digital glitchcore, with some classic horrorsynth vibes encoded in and juuust a few pixels of bittersweet 8-bit “Lavender Town“-esque chiptune. This track was made as part of a liminal spaces-themed arts festival performance at my university, so liminalcore/analog horror stuff like the Backrooms or Mandela Catalogue were big inspirations for the track. Not all horror resides in horror movies 🖥️👁️⚠️ Fret not, this doesn’t mean I’m moving away from synth metal!
