It had great fire power and mobility, and was a lethal threat in large numbers. It was one of the main battle tanks during the Cold War era in which it was soon replaced by the T-72 Tank. Despite being a formidable opponent to the Western Allies, there were vulnerabilities to the tank that can be exploited to ones advantage.
