Make a Phenakistoscope

This is a tutorial on ow to make a 19th century animation device called a phenakistoscope. It was invented in 1851 by Joseph Plateau and it is sometimes referred to as a magic disc. This is because it is a circular disc with a series of drawings and slotss in it. When you hold it up to a mirror, spin the disc and look through the slots the drawings turn into an animation.
