I am so excited to share with you my new mushroom tutorial! These can be used for Christmas ornaments, keychains, for fibre sculpture, add them to wallhangings, etc. You can always make the top portion longer (cut more cord!!) and the colour green, the stump a brown colour, and voila, a mini Christmas tree ! I’ve made a few and they turned out so cute!
Now, I do consider this one to be an intermediate pattern, so remember you can always slow down the video by hitting the 3 dots on the right of your screen to adjust playback speed. I will also put the links slow, step by step tutorial for the knots we use in this video.
As always please remember that it is always a good idea to cut a few extra inches for each cord length if it is your first time following a pattern. Each cord manufacturer’s size vary, some greatly! And yes, you can use other types of cords for these cuties, just make sure to give yourself that extra length.
