Photo Finish (1948)

Photo finish camera, London. Various shots of trainee operator learning how the cameras used at races courses work. An instructor in a white coat demonstrates with model race course with moving horses. He shows the trainee various bits of machinery. The trainee stands behind board and presses a button which operates photographic equipment. A photograph is taken of a finish of a race (using the automated model). As soon as the race finishes, the trainee shuts a blind and develops the picture. C/U of a photo-finish picture, developed 30 seconds after end of race.
