▶️ Russian basketball club CSKA Moscow players descended with the country’s main basketball trophy into a coalmine in the Siberian city of Norilsk to a depth of 750 meters (some 2,460 feet). CSKA Moscow’s US-born point guard Casper Ware signed a new contract with the club there. The American player led the Russian club to win the last season’s trophy, chalking up most of the assists for his team. CSKA Moscow basketball club won the Russian national championship last week for the first time since 2021, bringing its total prize list to 11 trophies.
