my most important sketchbook pt.1 (sketchbook tour)

the goliath that started it all. in this old 2018/2019 high school sketchbook tour, I show a lot of the practice that went into building my drawing and painting skills. sketching 100 hands, 100 heads, and 100 feet really helps to build up drawing mileage, and this sketchbook really shows a lot of the fundamental drawing skills I built in high school. I was figuring out if I really wanted to pursue art as a career and study it in college and (spoiler alert) I ended up doing just that! I hope this video inspires you to keep on drawing, no matter what skill level or age you are at. it’s never too late to pursue and improve your art skills, and I wish you the best in filling out your own sketchbooks, and maybe gives you some sketchbook ideas to get started!
