According to the prophecy of Isaiah 60, today’s world is in the darkness. Therefore, we encounter many difficulties and hardships during our lifetime. Church of God Is the Lamp That Lights up the Darkness Even if the environment is dark and unfavorable, the members of the Church of God make effort to be the light of the world through good deeds and to deliver God’s love to this loveless world in obedience to God the Mother’s words, “Be the lamp that lights up the darkness.” [Matthew 5:14–16] “You are the light of the world. . . . let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” The world of fantasy that everyone dreams of is the kingdom of heaven. The children of light must fulfill their role to light up the darkness by preaching the good news about the kingdom of heaven, the world of dreams, to all people who are confined in the darkness.
