Jean Luc Marion - Philosophy and Martyrdom

Jean Luc Marion is a Christian philosopher and theologian. He is one of the world’s foremost philosophers of religion as well as one of the leading Catholic thinkers of modern times. He is regarded by many as perhaps the most important phenomenologist of his generation. On 6 November 2008, Marion was elected as an immortel by the Académie française. The Academy traditionally has an ecclesiastical member and Marion now occupies seat 4 an office previously held by Cardinal Lustiger.
