Italian Wolf attacks Fox!

🇬🇧 During our last wildlife tour in Abruzzo National Park (Central Italy) we had the chance to observe one of the most interesting scene of our whole life! A Wolf (Canis lupus italicus), after an ambush of few minutes, attacks a Fox (Vulpes vulpes). The attack is not successful and after few seconds watching each others the Wolf leaves the ground followed for few seconds by the lucky fox. Observing such a thrilling scene left the speech all the participants of our group! The last months have been for us really amazing when it comes to the observation of European Carnivores: Iberian Lynx in Andalusia, Wildcat in Greece and Wolf in Italy!
