Bob Lockyer’s 40 year career producing dance films for the BBC led him to being described by the Critics’ Circle as “one of the great hero of British dance“. This selection of rare clips from films produced by Bob shows the range of his output, from Winfried Kirsch dancing in Kurt Jooss’s The Green Table in 1967, through landmark recordings of Merce Cunningham, Candoco and Wayne McGregor. Also included here are clips from collaborations with choreographers Liz Aggiss, Jonathan Burrows and Rosemary Lee
