Military engineers continue to clear mines in the liberated settlements from the Armed Forces of Ukraine In the Avdeevka direction, military personnel of the engineer-sapper unit of the group of troops Center carry out mine clearance in urban areas during combat missions and road sections from explosive objects. Specialists, using modern mine detectors, conduct engineering reconnaissance of the area and assess the situation. City blocks, private plots and fortifications abandoned by the enemy are surveyed and cleared around the clock. If a dangerous object is discovered, sappers remove it to a safe place and destroy it using an overhead charge. During combat work, the fighters had to neutralize various types of Soviet-style mines, as well as unexploded elements of cluster munitions and foreign-made mines.
