Megyn Kelly mocks judge for smiling ‘ear-to-ear’ during Trump trial

Sky News contributor Megyn Kelly has mocked Judge Arthur Engoron and New York Attorney General Letitia James for their facial expressions in the courtroom during Donald Trump’s fraud trial. The New York Attorney General has accused the former president and his company of lying about his wealth in financial statements. Mr Trump was found guilty of fraud last week in the civil case brought against his company however, Judge Arthur Engoron must decide on six other claims in the lawsuit. The Megyn Kelly Show host said the judge looked like “the senior at his high school yearbook photo”. “He was so excited, he took off his glasses, he smiled ear to ear,” she said. Ms Kelly added that Ms James was “scowling” at the former president when she realised the camera was on her face. “Hey, Ms James, we get it, you hate him, trust us you have made that perfectly clear.” Mr Trump denounced the civil fraud case over his business practices, calling it a “witch hunt” and a “scam”. If the former president and the Trump Organisation lose the case, they could face millions of dollars in financial penalties.
