Antique Rusty Cleaver Restoration

This antique cleaver I was found at flea market and bought for USD $3. I’m love antique cleavers, tools and knifes too. Firstly I used electrolysis to remove all rust from the blade and then washing in cold water with a cleaning agent. I made decision to leave it in dark colors and I used only iron brushes to clean a cleaver. For handle, I choose an ash tree and for rivets brass. Finally, I painted it via two components paint and soaked in linseed oil. As usual, I made a test for the butcher’s cleaver for y
