Home-made pistol crossbow part 1 – prods made from shovel not PVC , good for survival

I have seen people making a crossbow from bamboo but living in the city, it’s easier to find old shovel and PVC, so I decided to use an old shovel not PVC as limb or prods of my new home made pistol crossbow. In the next video I will also upload another video about how to make Homemade pistol crossbow bolts but for the time being, not with broadhead. I like testing whether they are safe to use but not for sale. In this video I also show how I made crossbow trigger mechanism which was working great. Since the shovel is not very think, I can’t achieve an 80lb draw weight but I have made it easy to upgrade the limbs. I build it to last so no hot glue is used in this project. This is not a self cocking pistol crossbow I but I am satisfied with it anyway because although it is smaller this new pistol crossbow has better power-to-size ratio and much better handling making it ideal for target shooting or hunting small game, and can be a very useful survival pistol crossbow though might not be as goo
