Judas shared this fate, being forced to wander the worst layer without a clear memory of what exactly he did to deserve this. He had faint guesses, but he could never formulate a narrative to deserve the sentence. Instead, Judas focused on survival. Unlike many husks in Treachery, Judas was defined by his unwavering hope. Whereas many would simply give up and join the frozen bodies, Judas believed there was still light at the end of the tunnel. And to that, he turned to Heaven. Soon people would rise, inspired by his charisma. He emboldened courage, and he reminded people that one can still and must persist wherever they are, for even the afterlife is worth just living.
