Quoted from their website: The USS Aries Hydrofoil Memorial, Inc., is a non-profit organization created specifically for the preservation, and rehabilitation of the only remaining Patrol Hydrofoil Missile (PHM) Ship and is a member of the Historic Naval Ships Association and the International Hydrofoil Society. Over the years, our mission has expanded to include other hydrofoils both military and civilian, domestic and international. Our fleet of hydrofoils has grown to over seven, many of which have been restored to flying Aries PHM-5 The Aries is quite complete and utilizing the original Mercedes-Benz MTU diesels she is capable of getting underway hullborne while our primary goal it get her flying again.
