DIY - Turn your screw nut to a mini pinion gear puller

I came across the idea to make a puller from a M12 nut and a M6 screw, to get some pinion gears off my motors. M12 is the biggest one that I can find in my tool box, but Ideally I should have used a bigger one in order to deal with larger gears. Hope you will find this helpful.
