Of ’Going to Live’, vocalist Felix said, “We were in the UK about to head to Spain in March (2020) when the whole Covid situation started, and we had to cancel that tour. We got one of the last flights out and came home to Australia and had to quarantine for two weeks, and I wrote the bones of Going To Live. I had an idea for a Spanish chorus; the melody was there, so I called my friend Cristina in Barcelona, and she turned it into a chorus that really sings. It’s about a melancholy, a sadness, but also real defiance to live. The image that started this song was seeing how everyone in Spain in their lockdown would go up on their rooftops at night time, and the sound of them singing would echo around the skies.
